The final of those three outfits I was telling you about

In this outfit, I am wearing a lace shirt from Salvation Army, a pink ruffled skirt for Target, lace tights, also from Target, a green sweater that belongs to my sister, and floral Doctor Martens.

Hi, again

So, the day I put up the picture for our previous post, my well-dressing friends (most of which are on this blog) and I were at my house and they decided to make me wear things, so I'll post one of the outfits today and the other tomorrow. I'm going to force them to partake in the cool photo shoot idea, and we will attempt to get back to regular posting.

(I was told to do something interesting, don't mock me)
I'm wearing a floral dress from Urban Outfitters, a blue dress (open, worn as a vest) from Forever 21, ambiguous white tights, shoes my mother gave me, and a scarf from our store (see the sidebar).

I apologize for our absense

Yeah, we just suck and have been completely ignoring this blog. I don't really feel like writing a lot at this moment, so I'm just going to post this picture of my outfit that was taken in my room.
We are planning a really amazing photo shoot, which we will try to get up as soon as possible.

I miss Being a freshmen

Don't you love that at every stage of your life you classify it as "busy" but as you get older you begin to wish you were in that earlier stage. Okay this is Katie looking all angry in her inapropriate dress for our weather

Hola

Hi. This is Katie writing. As it is summer vacation, Renata and Gabriel are gone and I actually have to write something. These pictures we took a long time ago, specifically in March. They were never posted because they were taken on my crappy point-and-shoot camara, but, with the lack of things posted here of late, I figured the time was desperate enough to post the bad pictures. Sorry for the random order of photos. I am technologically retarded and I couldn't figure out how to change the order.
I don't know where Gabriel gets his clothes, assume something is from Salvation Army and something is form American Apparel. His mouse was purchased from Pet Supermarket. I think those are his ugly shoes from Payless.
My dress is from Urban Outfitters, my sweater, New York and Company, my tights, Target.

Edgy is going right to edge of the cliff while looking all the way down and dancing anyways!

The blog neglect is completely without excuses. It's kind of strange that we were posting so regularly in the midst of AP craziness and cease when it all ends. Regardless, the summer months are long and largely uneventful so we'll probably be posting a lot. I just realizes that we've neglected a lot of major events in fashion (fashion week, mcqueen dieing, etc.). We'll get to that eventually, I am confident of that. Here's a majorly weather inappropiate post of Katie and I looking like wierd desert nomads. There's a lot of pictures of me looking stupidly angsty in the middle because Katie decided to squint excessively in most of her pictures, but I'm sure you'll all live with it.
Oh, I didn't injure myself or anything. The arm brace was Katie's and I thought it was vaguely Rodarte f/w 09 with all the straps. Forgive us if it looks stupid.

we're wearing way too many layers to try and bother with classifcations. Try not to cry in agony

Photoshoot

As you might know, we did a photoshoot a while back where we used a giant egg which we made. We later thought it would be a nice compliment to make a giant bird nest. We made this bird nest but, my mom threw it away so we had to make another one which hindered our ability to get around doing this photshoot.
It was a lot of fun to do this and we sort of brought our entire closets over to Katie's house and dumped it in her room and played around with some outfit.
Everything knit is coming from the etsy store(the collars and shoulder pieces aren't up yet) and so are the white hair clips.
There's quite a lot of them, but they're hopefully aesthetically pleasing enough to keep you interested.
I'm too lazy to write out what we're wearing because everything has too many layers and there's just too much clothes. Assume everything store bought is H&M, target or forever21. Anything else is thrifted or DIYd.
I find it amusing that we did this in a very public area. The passerbys were very confused.

Etsy!

This was said in the last post but, i will talk about it in more detail here.
We get bored easily so one day we bought yarn to expirement with which turned into us making these really long rope things that we would wrap around like scarves or harnesses. We then had the idea that these could be sold on etsy and we then started making these collar things out of the yarn so we then decided to actually make a store. Yay!
Here we have some pictures we were going to use for the store to advertise the products(hence the less ornate outfits)that for some reason never made it on there and Paula won't disclose the information.

Link: http://www.etsy.com/shop/intreegue
We will be adding more pictures and the collars on here as the week progresses so these aren't the finalized products

All the scarves are between 10 and 12 feet long. The pictures on the store show them more as neckalaces since it is spring and it seems more seasonally appropiate but they can be wrapped tighter to be more scarf like. They are all $15 and we're trying to figure out how to make it so that you can get two for $25.

And here we have some pictures we took in the woods(more like the Everglades). We were slightly horrified when doing these since the chances of getting attacked by some predatory animal were rather high.

Katie's wearing grey tights from target, a skirt from target, a white t-shirt and two scarves from the store
I'm wearing a scarf from american apparel, a thrifted vest, thrifted shorts, american apparel sheer shirt, and some irrelevant cardigan from mysterious origins

Dramatic posing

Hello children. Lately we've been excessively cohesive without trying to so expect a deluge of outfit posts this week. We've been in the midst of developing a huge project these few months that was officially finalized today, the formal unveiling on the blog will be tomorrow. Is my tension building appreciated?

here's an amalgamation of obnoxious and normal pictures of our outfits.

what we're all wearing:
katie: thrifted vest and shirt, target skirt, target socks that were tights but she's 6 feet tall and those would never actually be the appropiate length, payless shoes(she's wearing heels to be obnoxious) and self made collar
Renata: Target dress, thrifted lace dress underneath, forever 21 belt, payless shoes, bowtie as bow
Me: upside down jacket that has been highly contorted, thrifted vest, socks of mysterious origin, payless shoes, thrifted mesh shirt, thrifted shorts
I'll do some more extensive coverage tomorrow, but we're all itching to post it. The collars(like katie's here, these knit shoulder pads and the pleated one i wore two posts down)will be added tomorrow.
We knit everything and this is basically a product of extreme boredom over winter break and it blossomed into an etsy store!

Technology hates us

So, there wasn't a two month hiatus here or anything...
We had some issue and we kept getting comments in huge amounts in some asian language which had links to sex shops and porn sites and then they started to appear as posts in our draft area. Yeah, inconvenient, but it's all fixed now so homeostasis will return.
Nothing horribly exciting that you won't find out within this week happened in our lives other than school so here's some pictures we took last a few days ago next to the highway(interesting excursion...)

Katie is wearing a jacket from target, thrifted shorts and a shirt of mysterious origin and I'm wearing a self made collar contraption, american apparel cardigan, thrifted shorts and vest and pants from some place that sells pants.
