Refusing to conform = )
Well, I decided that I wasn't going to change the way I dress at all. No matter how conspicous I may look. Do you think it's wrong to think something looks bad in a different part of the world, or does is tacky just tacky wherever it is? I happen to think the second one, but would lovew to hear your opinions. Today's outfit was based on Asian street style. Since I don't really thinbk I can pull off the extreme outfits I just clashed some prints which I think gave the outfit an intersting look.

as much as i would love to believe tacky is tacky wherever it is, i dont think that is the case. i am from a teeny tiny southern town and not to be mean but some people down there think something is so amazing (tires used as flower planters, skin tight boob showing tee shirts, rebel flags, etc) and while i think they are all just extremely tacky, people there love them!
i live in new york city now, but whenever i got home, im sure people think IM the tacky one!
No, I don't think you should change the way you dress either! You dress well, and if anyone has a problem with your style, he or she should get a life.

Renata this is terrific, oh lol so I'm in China now and when i woke up i checked my cell phone and it said it was the 23rd of december and that it was 6Pm when in Chinese time it was 5AM and it's the 24th. This time change is sooo disorienting

I think that it depends on wherever you are in the world, because Norwegians dress different from South Africans and so on, so they tolerate different styles and outfits and such, or so do I think... I think that I would be more daring if I had lived in Harajuku in Tokyo, and I think that I would have been more concervative if I had lived in North Corea. You look really good!
